The initiative is in collaboration with the Students' Union to help stranded students at night

Amber Cars has pledged to support university students in Leeds throughout the academic year with its Safe Rides initiative.

If stranded during the hours of darkness, students from the participating universities can book a journey with Amber Cars, seven days a week. Fares will be covered by their Students’ Union, and they must repay the Union within 72 hours.
