Reports from the Institute for the Study of War indicate that Russia is conducting a major offensive in the Ukrainian city of Avdiivka with armoured vehicles and air support.

At least one person has said and a further 12 injured after a strike on the eastern Ukrainian strike of Pokrovsk.

'According to preliminary information, as of 10am , one person was killed and 12 were injured, two administrative buildings were partially destroyed,' State Emergency Services said.'Three people were rescued from the rubble by units of the State Emergency Service,' it added.It claims Russia carried out the strike on the area, which is in the Donetsk region.
