The Saturday morning Pennsylvania crash forced some nearby residents briefly evacuate their homes due to the fire risk which sadly took three lives.

The fiery crash took place on Interstate-476 on Saturday morning. A car had pulled over into the righthand lane due to a flat tire. A second car, whose driver turned on their hazard lights, pulled over to help.

Firefighters attempt to control the blaze on I-476 The truck driver and the driver of the second vehicle were both pronounced dead at the scene. A third person, a passenger in the second vehicle, was pronounced dead two days later. The identities of the victims have not yet been confirmed due to the intensity of the fire. The driver of the vehicle with the flat tire initially survived the crash and was hospitalized. They remain hospitalized as of Monday.
