“Cars can go up to almost 600 clicks on a full (fuel cell) tank now and this is going to be something that’s formidable in the future,” said Heard.

For the first time, three major auto makers will be showing off their fuel-cell electric vehicles at the Vancouver International Auto Show.

Heard said the auto show would also feature a booth from the Hydrogen Technology and Energy Corporation, a Vancouver company responsible for installing hydrogen fuelling stations in B.C.
