Fuel scarcity has hit Ibadan, Oyo State capital, as long queues of vehicles have surfaced at different petrol stations across the ancient city.

Vehicles such as cars, commercial buses, tricycles, and motorcycles were seen at petroleum stations due to the scarcity of Premium Motor Spirit which started on Sunday.

Some of the areas visited included Olodo, Monatan, Iyana Church, Iwo Road, Agodi gate, Mokola, Dugbe, Iyaganku, Bodija, Sango, and Apete. A commercial motorcycle driver, who identified himself as Adewale said the city had been witnessing scarcity of PMS since Sunday. A driver in one of the companies in Iyaganku area, who identified himself as Adeniyi, lamented about the situation.
