And the new technology could mean you'll never have to collect a parcel from your neighbours again.Czech car manufacturer Skoda is currently trialling a system which allows you to give courier drivers access to your vehicle's boot for parcel delivery.
When placing an online order, shoppers can list their car's location and number plate as the delivery address for their goods.Drivers can gain access to your vehicle's boot using the app - which will work as a keyless fob - during a delivery window specified by the owner. After placing the parcel securely in your boot, the courier can use the app to lock your car again.
In an attempt to address security concerns, drivers will be prompted to send a photo of the completed delivery to the customer. The technology is being trialled in the Czech Republic by two of the country's largest online shopping outlets - Alaz.cz and Rohlik.cz.
Tomas Cupr, founder of Rohlik.cz, said: "I am confident that our customers will very much appreciate delivery to their boot. Most Popular
