The Blue Oval looks set to unveil the special edition Mustang at the South OC Cars and Coffee event in San Clemente

Ford has released an intriguing teaser image of a new Mustang variant across social media, previewing a new Mustang GT California Special. The teaser, shared by Ford's CEO, Jim Farley, offers a glimpse of the new model's grille, which features a sleek black design adorned with a striking blue GT/CS badge. We can also see that the inlets on the outer edges of the grille have the same blue finish and will ensure this special variant immediately catches the eye.

The date clearly references when it will be unveiled and the coordinates point to where it will be showcased to the world. Each Saturday, the South OC Cars and Coffee meet is held at the South West parking lot of the mall so it seems this is where Ford has elected to lift the veil on the special model. https://twitter.com/jimfarley98/status/1722321844143890696 The first Mustang California Special was launched way back in 1968 and it was re-introduced in 2007 as a special appearance package.
