Both marked and unmarked police cars surrounded the vehicle in question and crashed into it to stop it on the M6 near Stretton, in Cheshire, on Wednesday. One marked police car rammed into the BMW convertible, causing it to spin out.
’ Officers confirmed that the man was already wanted ‘by a neighbouring force’ for perverting the course of justice. The driver has now been arrested and is in custody Inspector Anton Sullivan said: ‘While we appreciate the disruption caused by this incident yesterday, the actions taken by officers were commendable.
