He was diagnosed with motor neurone disease earlier this year

Viewers of the ITV soap will know that Paul Foreman was diagnosed with motor neurone disease earlier this year. After being told by his neurologist that he has MND, Paul begged her to tell him how long he will live.

In tonight’s episode, Paul attended a speech therapy hospital appointment with his mum where viewers saw him tell the nurses he has been struggling with coughing fits. She confirmed Paul has a matter of months left to live, anything from six to 12 months.
