Teodulfo Gonzalez Officers arrested a man Saturday who was caught with tires he'd allegedly stolen from vehicles at a local car dealership.
On Jan. 30 at 9:50 p.m., an officer noticed a U-Haul truck in the parking lot behind the Bobby Rahal Lexus dealership involved in "suspicious activity," according to a news release from the West Earl Township Police.The officer pulled the vehicle over, and found that the driver, 48-year-old Teodulfo Gonzalez, was driving without a license.He allegedly told police he had permission to collect tires from the dealership.
Dealership representatives confirmed to police that Gonzalez was not authorized to remove the tires, which had been securely stored. Police discovered the U-Haul contained between 30 to 40 tires, including some that Gonzalez allegedly stole from the Lexus dealership.Police said he was taken into custody on Feb. 10 and charged with trespassing, theft of moveable property, and operate with a suspended license.
