The Caldwell County Sheriff's Office busted a large cock fighting ring over the weekend and detained several people and seized dozens of roosters and vehicles. The sheriff's office had asked the community to avoid the area due to the size and scope of the investigation. Nine people were taken into custody, 20 vehicles and a trailer were towed, and about 35 roosters were seized.
