Residents fighting a four-year battle against car nuts in Toton say the situation is 'bedlam'. Waves of homeowners local to the Park & Ride near Bardill's Roundabout on the A52 have been subject to noisy car meets taking place just metres from their properties for nearly half a decade. To finally kill the issue, tram company NET installed raised speed bumps in the car park just weeks ago, hoping that owners of lowriders would think twice about using the council-owned land due to the potential damage that could be caused to their cars. But on Saturday, March 9, hundreds turned out - and caused more nuisance than ever with their screeching wheels and loud engines. One person said: 'There must have been three or four hundred people and at least 200 cars. They were queueing to get in and some were parking on the main road and walking. It was bedlam. Mad. It really was. Get the latest news straight to your phone by joining us on WhatsApp 'It's driving me mad. We've had enough of it now. You can hear it and smell the smoke. It's terrible'
