One of such reactions came from the Secretary to the Imo State government, SGI, Mark Uchendu, who said the government sold what he described as “unserviceable vehicles numbering 71, in 2018,” adding that “it also followed due process.”

“These items were disposed of that December, January and February by the auctioneer we engaged. There was no sheddy deal in it. We also went ahead to publish it in a newspaper. I could not have manufactured it.” Also commenting, the Finance Commissioner of Imo State, Ugochi Nnanna Okoro said: “Why I am afraid is that the PDP government will not sustain the free education programme of Governor Rochas Okorocha. The PDP doesn’t have the programme to sustain the free education.
