A POSSILPARK business will support educational and social growth in two Glasgow primary schools and a youth sports coaching programme.
"We have 32 different languages spoken in our school so we want to buy books in a range of languages to suit this diverse community; this will have a great impact on our school and young people.” The largest grant, £1,500, goes to Winning Scotland’s On Our Marks project, enhancing the wellbeing, confidence, and life skills of 300 Primary 1 and 2 pupils across 10 north Glasgow primary schools.

New campaign launched to remind Glasgow motorists of vehicle tax risksA new campaign has been launched to remind motorists in Glasgow of the risks involved with failing to tax their vehicles on time. Over 98% of vehicles on UK roads are correctly taxed, but some motorists still choose to take the risk, triggering action from the DVLA. Last year, there were 33,929 enforcement actions against untaxed vehicles in the Glasgow area, including financial penalties, court action, clamping, and impounding. The DVLA's enforcement teams and wheel clamping partners also travel around the UK to take action against untaxed vehicles.
