A major police pursuit across Melbourne involving more than a dozen police cars has ended with officers swarming on three teenagers in a shopping centre car park.
The teenagers - a 16-year-old boy and two 15-year-old girls - allegedly carried out two home invasions and an attempted carjacking while armed with machetes, before they drove away at speeds up to 200km/h, police have revealed. 9News understands up to 20 marked and unmarked police cars and a police helicopter pursed a black Nissan Pathfinder as it sped from Melbourne's west towards Geelong just after 9am.to report seeing the chase, saying he believed the cars were travelling at more than 150km/h.Police have said the chase got up to 200km/h as it travelled through Wyndham Vale and Werribee.
