The man accused of intentionally ramming two police cars and then leading officers on a dangerous pursuit for 30 miles is reportedly a ten-time convicted felon.

by Ryan Simms, KOMO News ReporterA criminal records check showed Brandon Wilburn, 32, has been arrested and convicted for more than a dozen crimes—including assault, robbery, DUI, and being in possession of a stolen vehicle.

Wilburn has not yet been charged in Wednesday's pursuit, but prosecutors told KOMO News his lengthy rap sheet may have been the reason why allegedly fled from authorities.when officers said they spotted Wilburn driving a stolen GMC Yukon in the vicinity of the Factoria Mall. According to court papers, officers used two police patrol vehicles to block Wilburn in and prevent him from escaping. One of the officers then exited his patrol vehicle and approached Wilburn, according to court papers.

In footage captured by the Guardian One helicopter, Wilburn is accused of deliberately driving the wrong way on the freeway. As a result, a dramatic video showed dozens of motorists narrowly avoiding collisions with him.
