Sky News host Chris Kenny says Labor’s climate and energy policy is the ‘albatross around its neck’ and 'the party knows it'.

Sky News host Chris Kenny says Labor’s climate and energy policy is the ‘albatross around its neck’ and 'they know it'. Labor has announced plans to cut emissions by 45 per cent by 2030, and reach a 50 per cent renewable energy target by 2050.

Mr Kenny says the Australian taxpayer will pay extra for electricity as renewable subsidies are increased, there will be extra costs on industry as they have their emissions capped, and farmers will have more rules applied to vegetation clearing and stock numbers. Mr Kenny has also slammed Labor’s commitment to ensure 50 per cent of all cars sold in 10 years’ time will be electric, saying the plan is ‘nuts and will cost a bomb’.

GrahameMorris2 Could this channel and commentators be less informed? A sparsely populated, energy rich, difficult terrain country achieved this very target last month. Yes Norway 🇳🇴 managed this “impossible” feat in March 2019. No walking between remote towns or even swapping batteries.

GrahameMorris2 This is actual BS. A Tesla Model 3 or Hyundai Kona EV would do this distance in one go. With ease. doingnothingisworse

GrahameMorris2 Wow! Really well researched!?!

GrahameMorris2 Whats up, worried your shares in coal might take a hit ? Wagga to Dubbo is 406k's, EV will blitz that. Sydney to Dubbo is 388kms, Again, Ezy. Sydney to Wagga is 450, so thats a push, but there is a fast charging station half way.

GrahameMorris2 Oh my God what a Frick old ignorant!!! He is not on board with the world advance in EV technology for sure. Most important he must have for sure some interest in fossil fuel. Where the hell is that idea of '2 batteries'? Oh man! This man believes EV'S have detachable batteries.

GrahameMorris2 Seriously ? This guy is a bloody joke. He clearly knows nothing about the subject of EVs.

GrahameMorris2 Great to see your journalists fact checking as per usual. Such uninformed debate

GrahameMorris2 were running out of power hate to have an electric car in S.A.

GrahameMorris2 Why would ALP spend $200m (?) on electricity recharging stations when all electric vehicles will have (lighter more efficient) on board hydrogen generators when (soon 2 B obsolete) Li expenditure recouped. H already on sale at conventional petrol stations in LA & London.credlin

GrahameMorris2 Mr. Morris. As always.

GrahameMorris2 This is Grahame’s preferred means of transport auspol

GrahameMorris2 GrahameMorris2 This was the iPhone 11 years ago and Apple had sold all of 10 million of them. Now they have sold well over 1 billion iPhones. But please keep telling us how this idea is ‘silly’ Auspol

GrahameMorris2 Electric cars may be fine around a city but they are useless in a rural environment. I travel 80ks each way just to work. That puts a clamp on electric cars. Plus the price double anything. Then where does all this extra power usage come from.

GrahameMorris2 There’s a fleet of electric taxis running out of Bangkok International Airport . I caught one recently and enjoyed it .

GrahameMorris2 There you go again Graham talking common sense. The climate change/global warming debate has nothing to do with common sense or science. And Labor couldn't give a rats arse about CC. Its all about votes from the niev gullible left.

GrahameMorris2 April Fool 😃

GrahameMorris2 It actually HASNT detailed it at all - why lie? auspol ALPaprilfoolsdayENERGYpolicy

GrahameMorris2 They aren't running on ever ready AAs graeme....

GrahameMorris2 It is Silly if there are no targets to achieve - NotCrooked Fossil Fuel BigBiz Targets that do nothing for the Nation or the Climate but Rob AusNation

GrahameMorris2 The new Kona will get to Canberra but you better recharge before returning to Sydney.
