The Sunway partnership offers early exposure to EV tech for automotive studentsSunway and the National Youth Advance Skills Training Institute in Dusun Tua, a public vocational school under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, signed a Memorandum of Understanding to foster closer cooperation focusing on Technical and Vocational Education and Training in the fields of electrical and mechanical, and automotive technology.
“Today marks an important milestone as the Youth and Sports Skills Training Institute is pioneering education and training in EV systems. Together, we can light a path towards a brighter and greener tomorrow,” added Yeoh at the official launch of the EV and Hybrid Vehicle course. Sunway Group chief human resources officer Foo Shiang Wyne stated, “Tvet has the potential to drive new opportunities and innovations in Malaysia. This collaboration with IKTBN Dusun Tua is another example of our commitment to the growth and development of the Tvet sector, providing an avenue for young Malaysians to acquire industry-relevant skills that meet the demands of an ever-changing economy.
