Police: Several rental cars stolen from Rochester airport by thieves posing as employees

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office says nine vehicles have been stolen from the Rochester airport since the beginning of the year.

Eight of those vehicles stolen from the airport are rentals, and one is an employees that was parked in the rental lot. Court documents from Rochester City Court show that a Hertz Rental Car employee at the airport used the termMCSO has arrested four individuals in connection to three of the stolen vehicles, which they say were used in a larceny.

MCSO says a fourth individual involved in the alleged crimes has been identified , but it's not in a position to release that information due to it being part of an active investigation.
