Veezu is the new name for Amber Cars – Leeds’ biggest private hire operator

Veezu is the UK's fastest growing and largest private hire technology platform and operates from regional hubs across the country. Amber Cars has been operating across the Leeds and Bradford area since 1987 and was acquired by Veezu in 2015. Since then, the firm has grown to partner with more than 16000 driver-partners across the UK and has grown exponentially with the acquisition of local brands like Premier Cars, Gee Gee Cars and Wheels Private Hire.

The new app will give passengers a much-improved user experience, with smarter address search capabilities, easier access and improved functions across the board. Veezu also offers multiple payment options, including cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay, making travel even more convenient for passengers. As part of its rebranding efforts, Veezu is excited to unveil an extensive marketing campaign entitled 'Smarter Local Rides' in the Leeds private hire vehicle market.
