Infiniti’s flagship 2025 QX80, above, pitched as the first step in the brand’s “product renaissance,” aims to set a new tone for the brand after years of slowing sales. The third-generation full-size SUV goes big across the board, adding legroom for all three rows of seats and a new 3.5-litre twin-turbo-charged V-6 that generates 450 horsepower, 50 more than the V-8 engine in the outgoing generation. It also has an upsized price tag, starting at $107,490, including $2,495 delivery.
The car has a wider stance and fastback roofline, though its standard 147-horsepower 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder is a carryover. The K4 is slated to arrive at Canadian dealerships in the second half of the year. Pricing hasn’t been released. It’s familiar looking but the big news for the 2025 G-Class is an electrified powertrain. A 48-volt integrated starter generator complements the 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder turbocharged engine in the Mercedes-Benz G 550.
