A man pleaded guilty to several charges, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, last week stemming from, 43, pleaded guilty on April 17 and will spend between seven and 20 years in prison after he crashed head-on into a Ford F-250 while driving a tractor-trailer under the influence of methamphetamine and alcohol on I-76 in Brecknock Township. That crash killed Nubia Llivipuma, 45, and Mariana Llivipuma, 39, of Santa Isabel Canton, Ecuador, the DA’s office said.
State police responded to the area around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 23 after receiving reports of a tractor-trailer driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes of I-76. Less than 10 minutes later, troopers were notified the tractor-trailer struck another vehicle.
