Usman Ododo, governor of Kogi, has handed over 105 vehicles and motorcycles to security agencies to aid fight against crime in the stateIsmaila Isah, the spokesperson to Ododo, said in a statement on Friday that the handing over of the operational vehicles took place in Lokoja, the state capital.
“In Kogi state here, we have been working in collaboration with security agencies pushing a common goal, the goal of making sure that our people are secured and sleep with their eyes closed,” Ododo said.“We have a joint task force comprising the police, soldiers, civil defence and navy. The vehicles would be utilised by the joint task force. More are still coming.”
