Three cars were set on fire in Lawwell's driveway which then spread to his house in Thorntonhall, near Glasgow. The vehicles and a garage, above which Lawwell's daughter and her four-month-old girl were sleeping, were destroyed.READ MORE: Scots mum who carries wheelchair-bound daughter, 10, up to cramped flat says family 'live in hell' Officers have now confirmed that there are "no further lens of inquiry", the Sunday Mail reports.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Extensive inquiries were carried out into a fireraising incident which occurred in the Thorntonhall area around 12.50am on Wednesday, 19 May, 2021. "There are no further lines of inquiry, however any further information will be examined thoroughly."A spokesperson for Celtic said: "This was a horrendous time for Peter and his family. Clearly, we hope a satisfactory conclusion can be achieved going forward."
