The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Abdullahi, in a statement, explained that the tanker was suspected to have diverted the petrol from a filling station in Kano and was heading to an undisclosed location in neighbouring Katsina State when it was intercepted. Abdullahi explained that an investigation is underway, and upon conclusion, the petroleum product would be returned and offloaded at the original designated filling station in Kano.
The Command, according to the statement, also addressed concerns about criminal activities in the Bachirawa Kwanar Ungoggo Market in Ungoggo local government. Abdullahi said, 'Traders at the market have reported the activities of miscreants bordering on vandalism, theft of private property, and dealing in illicit drugs to the NSCDC.
