It's a great time to get out and enjoy the weather.on Valley roadways you need to be aware of. Parts of Interstate 10 and State Route 87 will be closed.. Here are a few notable reminders.Westbound I-10 will close between the Santan 202 and the US 60 from 10:00 p.m. Friday to 4:00 a.m. Monday.
Both US 60 ramps to southbound Loop 101 will close. The Southbound Loop 101 on-ramps at Broadway and Baseline roads will also close. Drivers can exit ahead of the closure and use the southbound Price frontage road before connecting with southbound Loop 101 beyond the closure. Drivers can also consider southbound Dobson Road or McClintock Drive.US 60 will narrow to one lane in both directions between 163rd Avenue and Center Street from 11:00 p.m. Friday to 3:00 p.m. Saturday and from 11:00 p.m.
Eastbound US 60 drivers can consider using eastbound SR 74 to southbound Lake Pleasant Parkway and southbound Loop 303 to reach Grand Avenue . Local drivers near 163rd Avenue can consider alternate routes including eastbound Happy Valley Road to access Loop 303/Happy Valley Parkway.State Route 87 will briefly close at times between Lindsay and Stapley drives from 9:00 p.m. Friday to 5:00 a.m. Saturday , from noon Saturday to noon Sunday and from 8:00 p.m. Sunday to 5:00 a.m.
