JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Dozens of Southside neighbors are cleaning up the mess after their carThe break-ins happened early Tuesday morning at the Auburn Glen and Antlers Apartments off Southside Boulevard.
Police said a witness saw a person pulling on vehicle door handles. JSO said 26 cars were burglarized and it is still looking for a suspect. The neighbor said he has lived at Antlers Apartments for 8 years and burglaries have happened in the past. He said the gates at Antlers are always open and wants his building to be more mindful of security. Brian Aviles lives at Auburn Glen and says his car window was smashed early Tuesday morning as well.
