Grosjean attempted to pass Ferrucci, but did not appear to give Ferrucci enough room. Ferrucci kept his foot in the gas and pushed Grosjean's No. 78 up the race track. Ferrucci was then seen on a replay giving Grosjean an obscene hand gesture. Ferrucci told the television broadcast Grosjean drove into him during the morning warmup during the previous race weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.
