Published: May. 25, 2024, 6:20 p.m.Several callers at 7:30 a.m. on May 21 reported a reckless driver was weaving and passing cars on the berm while headed eastbound on I-90 near Crocker Road.
Officers administered field sobriety tests and then arrested the 23-year-old Cleveland woman for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and failure to control. A breath test indicated her blood-alcohol level was 3 ½ times the legal limit.Physical control, drug paraphernalia: Clemens Road Officers found a man sleeping behind the wheel of a running Lincoln. The 31-year-old, who listed a Westlake hotel as an address, seemed confused and intoxicated when officers awoke him. Officers attempted to perform field sobriety tests but noted that the suspect was so impaired that he could not comprehend their instructions.
The driver was charged with physical control, driving under suspension, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He refused a chemical test. The man also had arrest warrants from Avon police for larceny, Sheffield police for shoplifting, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol for traffic charges.Officers at 5 p.m. on May 4 responded to Sky Zone Trampoline Park, where a customer returned to their parked vehicle to discover that someone had spray painted it.
