Chief Inspector Lisa Murray said: “Of course, people will see that there is a large scene in place and this always causes concern.

“As soon as we know more, we will let our communities know. In the meantime, if anybody has any information that they think might be relevant to this incident then please call 101, quoting incident number 636 of 31 May 2024, or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”The large police presence and cordon in a Nottingham neighbourhood is due to the discovery of a "bloody, foul-smelling bone", locals have claimed.
