BMW Says Gas-Powered Cars Here To Stay Alongside EVs For Years To Come

BMW is building all powertrains on a single production line. This allows them to easily adapt to changes in consumer demand and regulations. The company believes gas-powered models still have a future despite the rise of EVs. BMW will build internal combustion and battery-electric drivelines on a single production line as it hedges its bets on different powertrains. As such, plenty of life remains in the brand’s gas-powered models, even as EVs continue to grow in popularity.
