SINGAPORE - He helped to dispose of 55 Toyota vehicles which were stolen in Malaysia, driving them across the Causeway to Singapore to be exported to other countries.

The total value of the vehicles was not stated in court documents which said that only three - two trucks and a sports utility vehicle - had been recovered thus far. Court documents said he contacted Freddy in 2014 and offered him a job - driving Malaysia-registered vehicles into Singapore. Freddy accepted the offer and Deputy Public Prosecutor Cheng Yuxi said that he was then tasked to go to various locations in Malaysia to pick up parked vehicles.

He initially parked the vehicles in Fan Yoong Road near Boon Lay Way but he later left them in Sungei Kadut.
