He constantly emphasized the amount of research and teamwork that goes into any mission before an ROV touches the water.“So I did about, uh, three months of pretty intensive research, uh, mostly at the national archives. And we a plan to look for the ship,” Curt explained. “That expedition started in 2000. Unfortunately, we didn’t know it at the time, but the Navy’s sinking location was off by over 30 miles,” he added.
