Oakland police now say a bicyclist found dead June 21 was actually struck by two vehicles that did not remain at the scene.

OAKLAND — A 51-year-old bicyclist found dead June 21 on an East Oakland street was actually struck by two vehicles that fled the scene, authorities said.

Brown was found just after 12 a.m. June 21 in the roadway in the 500 block of 105th Avenue. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
