Porsche Cars Canada CEO John Cappella has been appointed to lead operations at the luxury sports-car maker’s North American unit, replacing Joe Lawrence, who is leaving the brand “on his own accord.”
Cappella joined Porsche in 2011 as director of network development at Porsche Cars Canada. He held several leadership positions with the brand, including vice-president of Porsche Cars North America’s east region, before taking over leadership of Porsche Cars Canada in September 2022. “With four new model lines being launched so far this year, the pace and diversity of new cars being introduced is unprecedented.
