The hotter than usual Easter saw more reports of distressed dogs left in cars parked in the sunshine.

The highest number of calls was in Greater London with 17 reports, although Surrey, Cornwall and Norfolk were not far behind. ‘But rising temperatures and strong sunshine can make it extremely uncomfortable – and potentially dangerous – for our pets.
