The 33-year-old is accused of making a recording on his mobile while he was in the car park at Lurgan police station

A man accused of taking images of the vehicles of police officers is to stand trial on two terrorist offences later this year, a court heard today.

The 33-year-old appeared at Belfast Crown Court on Monday where it was alleged on May 27, 2020, at Lurgan PSNI station, he recorded information likely to be useful to a terrorist, namely "details of certain vehicles situated at Lurgan PSNI Station". McCaughey denied this second charge. Following the arraignment, a Crown barrister told Mr Justice Fowler that the trial is likely to last no longer than one week.
