KUALA LUMPUR: The transport ministry today announced the enforcement of a law requiring any person who drives a foreign vehicle into Malaysia to apply and register for a vehicle entry permit from Oct 1.

“For Phase 1, the requirement of VEP for all foreign-registered vehicles entering Malaysia through Bangunan Sultan Iskandar and Kompleks Sultan Abu Bakar, Johor, will commence from Oct 1 this year.
