While it is believed that electric vehicles will in the future take up the larger market share in the automobile industry, that time is beyond the five years the environmentally friendly Senator Murray-Bruce suggested. Nigeria ICYMI

That number is expected to increase to 30 million units “in 2030 as they become cheaper to make than internal combustion engine cars.” On the other hand, a JP Morgan report indicates that by 2025, electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles will account for an estimated 30% of all vehicle sales.
