Brian Cu, Grab Philippines president
In a statement by Grab Chief Executive Brian Cu on Monday, he said it was because the transport firm “acted in good faith” when it ordered its TNVS partners to comply with the LTFRB requirements before Friday, after the government-run transport agency opened 20,000 slots for TNVS in December. “This will reduce the number of vehicles servicing our commuting public, thus inconveniencing many Filipinos,” Cu said in the statement. “We hope that this inconvenience will be temporary, as we anticipate new drivers — even those from the 8,000 — to take advantage of the 10,000 new slots for application starting June 10.”
