Share to twitterThe Hyundai Kona is among the current crop of electric cars that deliver the longest operating ranges for the money.Cost and operating range on a charge are arguably the two most important buying considerations among those shopping for an electric car. Currently the battery-powered ride that can go the furthest distance on a charge is the Tesla Model S, which in its Long Range version is rated at an estimated 370 miles.
We determined the rankings by dividing each model’s base MSRP by the number of miles it’s rated to run on a full battery charge. The leader here is the Hyundai Kona Electric with an MSRP of $36,450 and an estimated range of 258 miles. We based our judgments on each model’s estimated range, as posted on the Environmental Protection Agency’s fueleconomy.gov website, relative to its MSRP, with the automaker’s destination charge included, but not options, registration, or fees.
Save you a read, it's the Tesla Model 3, Model S, Model X, and Model Y
