Japanese automaker Toyota unveils the newly redesigned 2023 Prius prior to the start of the Los Angeles Auto ShowTOKYO - Toyota Motor has suspended taking orders for its Prius model cars to address a product recall due to faults found on rear door handle parts, a spokesperson said on Wednesday.

Toyota's recent suspension of a production line at its Tsutsumi plant in Japan was because of quality checks for Prius cars, the spokesperson added. Three people have died and two more are in hospital after a late-night car crash at a retail park. All five were travelling in the same car and are believed to be men in their early 20s, police say. Emergency services were called to Staples Corner retail park in north London at just before 11:30pm last night . Three people were pronounced dead at the scene while two others were taken to hospital.
