Seven people have been arrested as vehicles, drugs and weapons were seized following a day of action by K District gardaí on Tuesday.
During yesterday’s operation, which involved 50 members of An Garda Síochána, 44 searches were carried out along with a number of checkpoints. Commenting on Tuesday's day of action, Chief Superintendent Michael McNulty, DMR West, remarked: "The actions today of local Gardaí supported by colleagues from the Dublin region and Dublin City Council will provide reassurance to our communities that we will continually tackle criminality and antisocial behaviour with the ultimate aim of keeping people safe”.
