A dash cam owner has caught the heart-stopping moment a car sped through an intersection on a red light and smashed into moving traffic, resulting in a valiant act by pedestrians.
The hatchback ploughs through the intersection at high speed, despite the light having been red for at least 18 seconds.The Toyota spins, also colliding with a red Mazda SUV next to it, before coming to a stop with clear damage to the front of the vehicle. Another commenter said her friend was involved in the crash, and although it is unclear which car was she in, said she was happy glad her friend was still alive.
Police confirmed a 26-year-old had been charged following an alleged traffic crash in Sunnybank Hills on Monday.
