HOUSTON, Texas -- On any given day on the streets of Houston, you may encounter a slab car, better known as a"Swanga".

With their high-gloss candy colored paint and shiny and pointy elbows sticking way out on each side, the cars are a sight to see - and hear! Slab cars were born in Houston in the 70's with the superfly, hip hop culture and remain one of the many Uniquely Houston must-sees.
