Kota Tinggi fire and rescue station acting chief Mohd Rafie A. Karim said that the department received an emergency call about the incident at about 10.51am on Saturday .
"We deployed 10 firemen, one Fire Rapid Tender and one Emergency Medical Response Services vehicle to the scene upon receiving the call. "Four victims had successfully left the cars when we arrived while two others were still stuck in one of the cars. "We managed to get the two others out of the car and they were declared dead by a medical officer at the scene," he said in a statement here."Meanwhile, the four other victims are between the ages of 18 and 48 years old and have been sent to Kota Tinggi," he said.
