A traffic collision on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge Saturday night caused by a person suspected of driving under the influence left one person dead, authorities said.

The people in the first crash were outside the vehicles when the suspected drunken driver rammed into them, killing one person, California Highway Patrol officials said.No other information was immediately available.
