Police packed up evidence from the home of Nicola Sturgeon and Peter Murrell following a two-day search as the probe into finances at the Scottish National Party continues.
A heavy police presence remained at the property throughout Thursday before officers packed up a blue police tent that had been stationed on the driveway and boxes of evidence.Neighbours said they hadn't seen the couple at the house since Wednesday morning. A witness at the scene said: "The police appear to be gathering further evidence in the garden. They are photographing all of his garden tools individually - his shears, spades and trowels.Another neighbour said she feared there had been a murder on the quiet cul-de-sac when she saw the heavy police presence.
SNP finances probe The SNP's head office in Edinburgh was also raided by police as part of a wider investigation into party finances. Numerous officers were seen entering Gordon Lamb House before 9am on Wednesday.
