With the push of a button, the BFIST crew can sparkle the target with a laser or relay, via a digital network, precise GPS coordinates to friendly artillery batteries. It’s unclear whether Ukraine will have access to the same digital network the U.S. Army uses. But even without the digital data-sharing, the BFIST represents a huge targeting upgrade for the Ukrainians.
If there’s a downside, it’s that the Ukrainians are getting just four BFISTS. The Americans typically tuck a single BFIST into the back of a tank or armored infantry company with 20 or so vehicles. Those four BFISTS Ukraine is getting could support maybe one tank battalion. Or a brigade if the Ukrainians assign just one BFIST to each battalion.
It’s worth noting, however, that Ukraine also is getting from the United States a small number of reconnaissance-optimized Stryker

daxe Forbes is a bunch of western neocons and autocrats who want to burn this world through nukes armageddon appeasing Ukro-Nazi regime of Ukraine and same time teasing Russia federation with decoy of words not real weapons
daxe In modernity, why aren't we seeing video of what is going on there from MSM? As this 'war' progresses, how long before MOST of the west becomes red pilled to this farce? Shouldn't this be over already with the heavy 'investment' by western govts ignoring their constituents?
