Kyle Larson was the only Hendrick driver to finish on the lead lap, claiming fifth. Larson says that after an incident with Chase Briscoe, he believed his Chevrolet was a little slower.
Elliott exited after only 34 laps in the 200-lap race, while William Byron was sidelined after 46 laps. Alex Bowman crashed on lap 127 and had to settle for a 33rd-place finish.Of the five cars that failed to finish the race, all were Chevrolets—with three of them being Hendrick entries. The other two were Kyle Busch with Richard Childress Racing and Josh Berry, who substituted for a suspended Noah Gragson at Legacy Motor Club.
